With BCA Section J Reports, BCA Logic recommends the assessment of all retail and commercial buildings prior to application for a Development Approval (DA) as Section J of the BCA requires the consideration of the building fabric, including any glazing in the external walls (such as windows), which may require design changes at the Construction Certificate (CC) stage which may require further Council approval which can lead to time delays.

A BCA Section J Report from BCA Logic prior to the application for a DA can expedite the approvals process and save any unnecessary time delay at the CC stage waiting for Council to approve a modification to the DA.
